My hub and I met Chris P, the man filming the doc, this weekend when they played STL. We were asked if we wouldn't mind being interviewed for the doc and we excitedly said YES! My guess is we were picked because my hub was dressed up as his version of Dr. Wily (which was pretty darn sweet) and I had face paint and yellow contacts.

It was very cool and Chris was lovely and I think we both espoused our love of the band and how well fell hard for them fairly well. I look back at it now with a bit of nervousness tho. The hub did mention that I appeared to just talk and talk, but I had to get it out there. The Protomen for me are a love story. But I digress...

Has anyone else here had the lucky chance of getting interviewed for this documentary? If so, I would love hear about what you've said about the band! And it might make me feel less insecure about blabbing, but I suppose that's the beauty of editing Very Happy.

Oh man I wish I was interviewed for this. I mean I'm already in it getting my ass handed to me by Commander, but.

I would buy it. I would sponsor it. I would love it. I just saw them last night in Vancouver, BC. Maybe I'll be in the DVD.

I would absolutely buy more than one copy to convert my friends who haven't seen them live. (two for myself - one for signatures and one for watching)

Heck, I'd love it if they included professionally produced music videos!
A Kickstarter project for that could do the trick; worked great for M.C. Frontalot and videos for his latest album.

Seeing as we are indeed GETTING a DVD (though not exclusively live stuff, I think, and also, we might not be getting it before we're all old and wrinkly), this thread has somehow lost in importance, hasn't it? ;)

Sucks for me since I missed getting in on the Kickstarter for the documentary. Sad

I'm pretty sure they're also going to sell it to people who didn't throw money at them via Kickstarter ;)

You have my support on this idea. I'd love to see this happen.

I'll admit i have only been entranced by your way of telling the megaman series from a very real and dark point of veiw but i want this also. No matter what medium you use, i trust as a fan you will not disappoint.

Keep fighting and if its not to much to ask come liberate us in Baltimore.
