Gosh this is embarrassing
"The Good Doctor Has To Pay!" was always "The Good Doctor Is To Blame!"
Say nothing this is embarrassing forget you read this v.v |

| I'm almost afraid to look back at some of the things we came up with when we were trying to figure out Act II lyrics from the live videos... |

Always heard "He did not use his hands like a smart man, he used a tool" as "He did not use his hands, I guess my man he used a tool."
I'm not the only one either. My sister didn't believe me when I told her it wasn't "I guess my man". |

Haha, I used to hear it as "he did not use his hands like us, my man, he used a tool"!
Also, I've only NOW learned that what I kept hearing as "they say you killed a man for walking on the wrong side of the light" is actually... different. But what a killer line that would be!
On a related note:
The Megas, Metaldance. Even though I know it's "You'll fall victim to my metal dance" it always sounds like "you'll fall victim to my metal bands" to me ;D |

| Whenever I hear Emily's bit at the end of Here Comes The Arm, I (for some silly reason) imagine a very grumpy Panther in one of two scenarios: 1. He's sitting in the recording studio and The Gambler is yelling "THIS CD NEEDS YOU NOWWWW" or 2: all the other Protomen are on a couch and she yells "THIS SETTEE NEEDS YOU NOWWWWW" |

At the end of "The Will of One" instead of "WE ARE YOUR HOPE" I kept hearing "WE ARE YOUR FAULT".
I also didn't get that it was humanity chanting it for Megaman, I thought it was Wily's loudspeakers. |

Hahaha, not really a misheard lyric... but in Breaking Out I never really knew what Panther said near the beginning so instead of saying the true line "I am, I am ready" I would say "I don't know what he says here".
It actually works quite well... XP |
I always heard "Whoa never, never agai-ain!".
I think the human mind just makes up any old thing for what it can't conceive, because I have no clue how I got "n" sounds where there were absolutely no "n" sounds. |

So we are all in agreement here that Light Up the Night, The Hounds, and Keep Quiet (or Breaking Out) are the worst offenders?
Although, I can't for the life of me hear any of the misheard lyrics you guys have in The Hounds. |

I used to think "So break the silence, send a signal back." in Breaking Ot was "There may be silence in the signal, but...".
I still hear it sometimes. |

I've always heard that, or conversely "Bring the silence in the signal back". I can never remember what the actual lyric is. |

Hahaha. I've always had a problem with hearing Lyrics in music. So it's no surprise, that, for the longest time. I always thought it was 'Sloppy Joe' instead of 'Sniper Joe' in Due Vendetta, of which Avy can tell you.
On a side note, in keeping with my now intentional mislyrics for Due Vendetta, totally trying to think up plausible/workable food variations for the rest of the song. |
