I'm pretty sure Beards Going Nowhere had something to do with alcohol as well... I just haven't figured out what...

"Don't give up! Don't give in! Without a beer you will never win!"

I sang that once by mistake. XD

Here's a funny one: Xero-Sama recently told me that she originally thought the Panther was saying Sloppy Joe, rather than Sniper, in Due Vendetta.

I can't take it seriously anymore thanks to her.

An old meme on the Megas' forum had to do with the friend of one of the members asking him why there was a random Mega Man X character in that song after mishearing that part as "Snapper Joe" and assuming it to be the name of one of the X-series bosses. His response was that MMX bosses tend to have much weirder names than that, and thus Snapper Joe and Blizzardon McGorilla Ding-dong were born.

Blizzardon McGorilla Ding-dong looks like Bomb Man and Guts Man had a baby.

Don't think too hard about how that'd happen.

Jesus Christ this is hilarious.

Remember when Light sees all of the Sniper Joes coming out of the Wily towers?
" Light could make out the thousands upon thousands of green-helmeted robots marching from the steel gates of the complex. Wily had built a fortress. He had built an army. He had been waiting for this moment to unleash it."

Yeah.... I'd say that was 2, tops 3 Joes coming out, considering the massive drunk-o-vision Light had to be experiencing by this time.

Also "Unrest in the house of Light".

Imagine that shit. Megaman tires to get himself a nice robo-nap and suddenly Light barges in and sits uncomfortably close to Mega's bed, howling "YOU HAVE HEEEERD MEEEEE TELL THIS STORY MANEY TIMEEEEEEEES BEFORE YOU SLEEP"
then directing a drunken finger in the very near vicinity of Megamans head "THIS TIME LISTEN CEEEREFULI"

Good show, chaps. Great forum. 10/10.

For further analysis:
Did Light and Wily actually invent alcohol?
Was the fight of Protoman one against the pandemic alcoholism in the city?

Monsterhugo - NO. Just, NO.

Unrest is one of my favorite songs off of Act I. It's really emotionally charged and heartfelt and even if Joe WAS drunk during Act II, you just... NO. Especially considering that it was what Light SAID that drove Megaman to fight, not some disgruntled anger at him being drunk.

Don't even joke about that.

I'd play a Megaman game with those bosses in it.

That stuff from that ST:TNG episode that made everyone, even Data act like drunks.

Drunken Light causing Mega Man to leave

No. It's a simple principle. Let's say that you have a pet and it's an inside pet. Leave your front door open and see what it does.

Put a man behind bars for long enough and tell him he cannot leave the cell. Open the door one day and guess what will happen.

Did you miss the irony or are you going for sarcasm deeper than I can fathom?
