Has anyone else bought/planned to buy these games? I got SoulSilver, and it's pretty awesome.
I'm also naming my Pokemon after Internet people. Some from the Comm: Onua the Arbok, AMARULES the Nidoran, KarmaKimmy the Gyarados, Proto012 the Tentacool, Aria the Farfetch'd, and soyen the Geodude.
Please don't question my naming processes. |

Dude. Your Nidoran is probably WAY BADASS with a name like that!

My wife has a copy of HeartGold, and I intend to get SoulSilver at the earliest convenience.
I don't typically name my Pokemans, though, unless it's just their type name, with correct capitalization |

Pharaoh the Ampharos, which I named him because he's the leader of the bunch.
I usually only name my Pokemon if I have a reason to. Like, me getting bored, being awesome, or me just wanting the pokemon. Something along those lines. |

this naming thing is similar to what I've been doing on X-com: enemy unknown.
also, HA!! no more slots and no more buying coins for you. *loses badly at slots on pokemon crystal*
I hereby request a not-entirely-crap pokemon to be named after me, as you, herr astral, are doing quite well for yourself on X-com. |

I got it. I am currently training up to beat Red. I might bring in some ringers from platinum, however. I have a few Hundreds (including a lvl 100 armaldo with 360 or so attack), and a few more ultra high levels hanging around. On platinum I actually have every pokemon available, mostly painstakingly pal parked from emerald and fire red. So, if anyone wants a pokemon that they can't get a hold of, hit me up.
I name mine sometimes. Such as Shocksheep the (now) Ampharos. Cyndi the female (now) Typhlosion. Icehorse the Dewgong, one of my HM horses. Puff my (of course) Dragonite. Teddy the Gengar. Attercop the Spinarak. On Platinum I named my Garchomp Bullette. I also have apparently named a magneton Magneto, and trained it to 100. And it's son, the magnemite quicksilver. And I also have Onyx, my Shiney Rayquaza.
As far as X-Com goes, I thought I was the only one who played. I tried naming the people on x-com, but I got too attached to the little buggers and they were all just fodder. |

I just want to get a pokewalker... Not even play the game, just borrows a friends and port some of my old pokemon into his game, and put it in the pokewalker.
Problem is, I have Blue version... |
