This might get me in trouble, but ehh...fuck it.
Here and now, I am declaring that I want a live Protomen DVD. I don't want it now, because the story isn't finished. I want it when ACT III is finished and released. I want the whole story, from start to finish, immortalized for me to watch whenever I want it.
I, as a consumer with monies to spend, would even consider, and probably enjoy, spending more than, say $30, on a well put together live DVD. Especially if there was some awesome background material.
I think this would be an excellent way to encapsulate the Protomen story and give people that have never seen the Protomen in person a chance to see them in their homes.
If the financial burdens are too much, then I propose the use of the http://www.kickstarter.com/ service. The Protomen set a price they need to pay for the thing, and a deadline for that money to be raised. Then we start paying in to that total. The more you as a contributor pay in, the more you get. If they get enough money, we get a DVD. If they don't then we don't lose our money. It is a win-win situation for us and them.
I, the undersigned, do agree to the above statements.
Signed:
LOFI - Zachary Whitten. |

If you want to sign the petition, sign with your forum name, and maybe a bit of your real name. Keep the thread cleaning, I'll be watching and removing any pointless thread shitting.
Let's show them we want this. |

THIS THREAD IS RELEVANT TO MY INTERESTS.
(And by "thread" I mean "request". And by "relevant to my interests" I mean just that, as this is likely the only way I'll get to see the Protomen perform, unless they play I-Con.)
-Arrak Esterhazy
P.S. - Lofi, you wouldn't happen to know if they'd be able to play I-Con offhand, would you? If you need info, I can give you the I-Con website. |

KojiroTakenashi - James Broderick II/Crazy Man Driving 560 miles to see Act II alone in a broken car.
One stipulation, however; I would buy a DVD of acts I and II (and even with the tech problems I insist upon the release show!), and THEN buy another DVD for Act III. Both, I feel, would have exceptional and lasting value.
Also I want to suggest the idea of a live album in the style of Ben Folds' Ben Folds Live... |

I'd buy a DVD of all 3 shows. Especially that Act Ii release show. That rocked.

If it didn't interfere with the Act II release show DVD they're supposed to already be making, then yeah, I'm all for it!
