As much as I love the funnies - and I do love the funnies - I don't buy that both Light and Joe being shitfaced drunk as for realsy reals what happens in the story.
I mean, Light never struck me as a heavy drinker, and he's too nice of a guy to let some shitfaced stranger handle heavy explosives on a huge motorbike.
Maybe it's the romantic in me, but I'd like to think everyone's actions were deliberate. |

No. It's a simple principle. Let's say that you have a pet and it's an inside pet. Leave your front door open and see what it does.
Put a man behind bars for long enough and tell him he cannot leave the cell. Open the door one day and guess what will happen. |
Did you miss the irony or are you going for sarcasm deeper than I can fathom? |
I'm not missing the irony. Just reality kicked in and I know that Dr. Light's heavy drinking wouldn't be a factor. |

Oh my god.
This is what happens when I leave for a while. I come back and find this.
This is the hardest I've laughed in forever.
If I can be arsed by the end of the quarter (admittedly in five days) I'm gonna draw Joe going up in flames.
He didn't fucking set the explosives on fire. He just spontaneously combusted and that's how it happened.
By the way, this is random, but do we have an IRC channel? |

ANy progress on that drawing? XD (As for IRC, we used to have one but I don't know what happened to it.) |
